Terms of Service

Effective date: May 18, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern use of Zoomies. Zoomies is a dog activity planning app for walks, weather checks, play date invites, activity tracking, photos, and recaps.

By using Zoomies, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Zoomies.

2. Not Veterinary, Medical, or Emergency Advice

Zoomies provides planning information. It does not provide veterinary advice, medical advice, emergency services, training advice, or professional care instructions.

Weather scores, walk windows, safety warnings, route summaries, and activity summaries are estimates. You are responsible for deciding whether an activity is safe for you, your dog, other people, and other animals.

If your dog may be overheated, injured, sick, or unsafe, contact a veterinarian or emergency service. Do not rely on Zoomies for urgent decisions.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for how you use Zoomies and for the information you add to the app.

  • Use accurate information when creating dog profiles, owner profiles, play dates, and activity records.
  • Follow local laws, park rules, leash rules, property rules, and animal control requirements.
  • Use care around weather, heat, cold, traffic, terrain, other people, and other animals.
  • Do not use Zoomies to harass, threaten, impersonate, or mislead another person.
  • Do not upload content that you do not have permission to use or share.

4. Location and Route Features

Zoomies may use location to provide weather recommendations, route tracking, place selection, play date maps, and activity recaps.

Location services can be inaccurate or unavailable. Maps, routes, place information, and weather context may contain errors. You must use personal judgment and check real-world conditions before and during any activity.

You are responsible for protecting sensitive locations, including home addresses and private routes. Do not share a recap, invite, or photo if it reveals information you want to keep private.

5. Apple Health Features

Zoomies may integrate with Apple HealthKit if you allow Health access. Health integration is optional.

Health features may save workout records, distance, active energy, and routes. These records are estimates and may not be complete or accurate.

You are responsible for managing Health permissions in iOS Settings. Zoomies is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition.

6. Play Dates and iCloud Sharing

Play date invites use Apple iCloud and CloudKit so invite links can be created and shared. An invite may include activity type, place information, scheduled time, join policy, participant names, participant photos, dog names, dog photos, status, and completion summaries.

You are responsible for choosing who receives an invite link. Anyone with access to a link may be able to view invite details. If host approval is enabled, the host may approve or decline join requests, but the link itself should still be treated as shareable information.

Do not create play dates or invite others in a way that violates privacy, safety, property, or local rules.

7. Photos and User Content

User content means information you add to Zoomies. It includes names, photos, activity notes, dog profiles, owner profiles, play date details, and shared activity photos.

You keep ownership of your content. By adding or sharing content through Zoomies, you grant Zoomies the limited permission needed to store, process, display, and share that content for the app features you use.

You must have permission to upload or share photos. Do not upload private, unlawful, harmful, or infringing content. Do not upload photos of other people, children, private homes, license plates, or sensitive locations unless you have permission and understand the privacy risk.

8. Recaps and External Sharing

Zoomies can create recap cards for walks and play dates. A recap may include dogs, people, photos, weather, distance, duration, and route context.

When you share a recap outside Zoomies, the external service controls that copy. Review the recap before sharing it. You are responsible for what you publish or send.

9. Third-Party Services

Zoomies uses Apple platform services, including iCloud, CloudKit, HealthKit, Core Location, MapKit, WeatherKit, notifications, and the App Store. These services are controlled by Apple and may be subject to Apple’s terms and privacy policies.

Zoomies is not responsible for failures, outages, errors, or policy changes in third-party services.

10. Availability and Changes

Zoomies may change, suspend, or remove features. Some features may require device permissions, internet access, iCloud availability, Apple Health availability, or supported iOS versions.

Zoomies may update these terms when the app changes or legal requirements change. Continued use of Zoomies after an update means you accept the updated terms.

11. Disclaimers

Zoomies is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Zoomies disclaims warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability.

Weather, location, route, Health, notification, invite, and photo features may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Zoomies and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, loss of content, personal injury, pet injury, property damage, missed notifications, inaccurate recommendations, or third-party service failures.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those jurisdictions, the limitation applies only to the extent permitted by law.

13. Termination

You may stop using Zoomies at any time. Zoomies may suspend or limit access if use of the app creates legal, safety, security, or operational risk.
